1. Nellore plays a major role in Aquaculture business in India. Earlier Tiger prawn (Paeneus Monodon) was only cultured in Nellore in brakish water areas. Now Scampi culture is also done in Nellore area (Zero Salinity areas).
2. Aqua Division was started on 17^th June 1997, with only two staff. As MD was having aquaculture farm in Vaviletipadu, he was interested in feed Business and has taken up distribution ship for M/s. GODREJ AGROVET LIMITED, Kondapalli for their Tiger and Scampi feed.
3.For 1997-98 year we have done a turnover of 25 lakhs. Now on an average we are doing around 4.5 to 5 crore business.
4.Through Godrej, we have launched a low cost feed for Scampi culture named POPULAR PELLET, which we have marked aggressively appointing around 25 sub dealers in Nellore and done a turnover of 2000mt in one year.
5.We have also promoted popular Scampi feed brand like MACRO GOLD and achieved good volumes.
6. We were the highest purchaser of feed in Godrej Feed Factory in Andhra Pradesh.
7. We also marketed Tiger Brands like HI-DEN & KAHOCHI.
8. We have very good farmer base in all aquaculture villages in Nellore district.
9. We are also dealers for popular chemical brands like Biostadt, Tablet India, APC Nutrients for their products.
10.We are exclusive distributor for M/s. KEMIN NUTRITIONAL TECHNOLOGIES INDIA (P) LTD., for their products in Nellore and Prakasam districts.
11.We have branches in Buchireddypalem and Gudur.
12.We have taken up distribution for M/s. CP AQUACULTURE INDIA PVT.LTD., for their feed in Nov 2004 by resigning from the dealership of M/s. Godrej Agrovet Ltd.
13.We are dealing in Novo Tiger Brand, CP Scampi feed and their Animal Health Care Products.
14. We are having total staff of 14.
15. Now on an average we are doing tonnage of 1200mt per annum.
16. We are the first Aqua dealer in Andhra Pradesh to obtain ISO 9001 : 2000 certification.
17. We are the first Aqua Company in Nellore to introduce FREE DELIVERY SYSTEM for feed in Nellore. Now all the feed dealers follow this trend.
18. We have introduced the Agreement and Collateral security system for the Credit issued to the farmers.
19. Now we are following Differential Credit Price and Emergency Services to suit customer requirements.
